Recipe for Coca Cola Cake
Sift together:
2 c. unsifted flour
2 c. sugar
Heat to boiling the pour over the flour mixture:
2 sticks butter
2 T. cocoa
1 c. Coke
Add:
1/2 c buttermilk
1 t. baking soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 T. vanilla
1 1/2 c. mini marshmallows
The batter will be thin and marshmallows will float on top.
Pour batter into a greased and floured pan baking ban. Bake 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes. Ice while hot.
Icing for Coca Cola Cake
Combine and heat to boiling:
1/2 c. butter
3 T. cocoa
6 T. Coke
Pour over:
1 box confectioners’ sugar
Beat well. Pour over cake while hot.
