Log Cabin Christmas in Indiana

In response to our request that Honest Abe homeowners share their holiday photos, Brandon and Marla Reider sent photos of their Indiana log home decorated and ready for their second log cabin Christmas.

“My husband and I both work from home now, so we get to enjoy our cabin 365 days a year!” said Marla. “We are definitely livin’ the dream. Just thought we’d share.  We always tell everyone how much we love our Honest Abe Log Home.”

Located in Birdseye, Indiana, close to Patoka Lake, the cabin is 3,360 square feet with a full walk-out basement, three bedrooms, an office and three and a half baths.

The Reiders selected the Navajo floor plan, which they customized to create exactly what they wanted. They also eliminated the loft to take advantage of the beautiful heavy timber ceiling throughout the first floor.
