Murfreesboro Model Home
Honest Abe Log Homes invites you to visit its Murfreesboro Model Home on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, and Saturday, Dec. 3, 2022, for a Christmas Open House to kick off the holiday season. After the official grand reopening weekend, the home will be open during regular business hours for free tours.
After 41 years serving the Murfreesboro and Middle Tennessee area, Honest Abe Log Homes has undertaken an extensive remodeling of the log and timber frame structure that houses the model home and sales center.
Guests will be treated to a tour of the log home by the Honest Abe Murfreesboro team, Dan Smith, David Mathis and Tammy Taylor. Interior designer Molly Cooper of Cooper & Co. has decorated the home to create a true log home Christmas.

Moss Model Home
The Moss Model Home and National Headquarters is decorated by Molly Cooper, Interior Designer at Cooper & Co. for Honest Abe Log Homes.
“For the Moss model I’ve chosen a pallet of white, blues and sliver for a contemporary look while adding touches of fresh greenery, wood and pine cones,” Cooper said.

Cookeville Model Home
The Bellewood model, one of three log homes on the Cookeville Honest Abe Log Homes campus, is a 3,215-square-foot, two-story house with three-bedrooms, two-and-one-half baths, a 52′ front porch with two side porches and full-length back deck.
Molly Cooper, interior designer with Cooper & Co. Designs, designed the decoration for a more natural Christmas look. The use of cotton, antlers, pinecones, greenery and wood give the place a “homey” atmosphere. Alongside Cookeville’s Bellewood model is the Algood model, a classic design favored by those who love the feel of a mountain vacation cabin all year round.

Crossville Model Home
The Cambridge, Honest Abe Crossville’s centerpiece model, is a 2,900-square-foot, two-story dovetailed D-log home surrounded by 1,700 square feet of porches. This award-winning floor plan incorporates both log and timber frame design in this elegant, modern home.

While in Crossville, step into the sales center’s original model home, The Frontier, a dovetailed chinked square log two-story cabin built in 1991. The cozy structure demonstrates how our log homes stand the test of time.
